it was an incredibly busy day. she came up to the counter, long hair dusted with gray, your typical eccentric lady. she was buying an assortment of things but had no prescription. she said, “what a lovely pendant, what is it?”. lowering my voice, i said it’s for the goddess and i could see out of the corner of my eye my manager slightly tilt his head to hear. “which one?” she asked. trying not to make a spectacle in front of the growing line, i said, the moon goddess. (it’s a triple moon goddess symbol over a pentacle with a moonstone in the middle. some people that come in here don’t take too kindly to the goddess…any goddess.) trying to hurry her up so i could get out of this situation, she kept asking about it and what was the stone in the middle. i said a moonstone. it’s all about the moon. that will be 64.20. she replied “well now i REALLY love it”. she kept taking her time doing the transaction and when it was over, i’m telling her have a good night. she says, “i hope you don’t have to go far because the roads are really dark out there, be careful”. now i’m kind of wishing i could have spoken to her more as i believe she was the page of wands i drew earlier and she had a message for me. if it’s true, i won’t waste my chance when she returns. i’m also wondering if it’s time i stopped hiding who and what i am. blessed be.
